Terms of Use
Last updated 22 August 2026
These terms govern your use of businessplanfirm.com. Paid engagements are governed by the separate written proposal or engagement letter we send you; where that document and these terms conflict, that document wins.
Who you are contracting with
Business Plan Firm is a trading name of AVVALE LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 14805382.
Using this website
The guides, templates, cost figures and industry research on this site are provided for general information. They are researched carefully and updated, but they are not advice about your specific situation, and figures change. Verify anything you intend to rely on.
What this site is not
- Not legal advice. We are not attorneys and nothing here is legal advice.
- Not immigration advice. Our immigration pages explain document requirements. They are not advice on your eligibility, your route, or your petition. Those are matters for a licensed immigration attorney, or in the UK an adviser regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority.
- Not financial, investment, accounting or tax advice. We are not a CPA firm, a licensed appraiser or a registered investment adviser.
- Not a lender or a broker. We do not lend, arrange finance, or take a commission on funding you raise.
No guarantee of outcome
We write documents to the standard a lender, investor or agency expects. We cannot and do not guarantee that you will receive a loan, an investment, a grant, an endorsement or a visa. Those decisions belong to third parties and depend on factors outside any consultant's control. Any figure, timeline or approval rate mentioned on this site describes general market conditions, not a promise about your case.
Engagements, revisions and payment
- Scope, price, deliverables, turnaround and the number of included revision rounds are set out in your proposal before work starts.
- Work begins when the agreed deposit or full fee is received.
- Revisions are included as stated in your tier. Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately before we do it.
- Timelines assume you supply the information we request. Delays in getting information to us move the delivery date.
Your information and confidentiality
We treat everything you send us as confidential and use it only to do your work. We do not publish client documents, names or case details without written permission.
Intellectual property
On full payment, you own the final deliverable we produce for you and may use it however you wish. We retain ownership of our underlying templates, models, frameworks and research methods, and of the content on this website. Free templates we publish may be used for your own business; they may not be resold or redistributed as your own product.
Accuracy of what you give us
Our documents are built on the information you provide. You are responsible for its accuracy. This matters most on lender and immigration filings, where a misstatement can carry serious consequences for you. We will flag anything that looks wrong, but we cannot independently verify your figures unless you engage us to.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost funding or lost opportunity.
Third-party links
We link to government sources, lenders and other third parties for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of protections available to you under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
